It's that time of year again. Time for me to go on, then upload some photos from, a Christmassy walk around my home town's splendid local countryside.

This year it was crisp and clear, what with it being vaguely unseasonally warm, so no lovely snowy pics like last time. However, you do get some pictures of sheep, and another shot to add to the 'Abandoned' photo collection.

I return from the Big Chill Festival, and I bring photos of people twirling things, sometimes aflame, sometimes not.

There was many a good band to be seen, such as The Egg doing a live version of a remix of one of their tracks that was on an advert, and the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain, doing great covers on that twangy banjo relative. Also, Lilly Allen.

Just been to Truck, and a good time was had by all. It rained like a right bugger on the Saturday, but it didn't dampen the spirits of the truckers.

Not so many interesting bands this time round, but I did manage to catch Thomas Truax and his clock work drummer this time, which was nice. Also, the yearly ASAP gig went well - ten people on stage this time!

Glastonbury 2005 was a mixed bag. A day of glorious sunshine, a day of storming thunder, a day of cloud, and a final day of sunshine. It wasn't as good as previous years, not just because it was muddy, but because a lot of the acts I wanted to see (Chromeo, Evil Nine, LCD Soundsystem) didn't play due to technical nuss...

Anyway, I'm dropping photos into flickr as and when I get round to it. Enjoy. Especially the one of the flooded toilets...
